Daffodil is a fragile princess doll who lives on the top shelf in The Secret Life of Toys.
Daffodil speaks in rhymes and riddles and often confuses the other toys. Since the children never let her be anything but a queen or a princess, she hardly talks about anything else.
Daffodil was left behind in Beamland (the attic) by her previous owners, where she spent many childhoods in loneliness until Penny and Simon found her. She is the only toy who's not afraid of Beamland, and even has nostalgic memories of the place.
