Dalia is Karli's foster mother and Clem's wife. She was first introduced in a series of videos for Sesame Street in Communities in May 2019 about foster care.
She made her first appearance on the Sesame Street series in Episode 5127.
Dalia also made appearances in a series of videos about substance abuse, released to the site in October 2019. It is explained that Dalia and Clem are fostering Karli while her mother receives treatment for her addiction.
