Dam-Ba-Da is an arid desert planet first featured in the Farscape episode "Till the Blood Runs Clear." It later appears in the season three two-parter "Daedalus Demands"/"Icarus Abides," as well as the Farscape Roleplaying Game.
Dam-Ba-Da is infamously impacted by intense solar flares it receives from a nearby star. Furlow, a mechanic based on Dam-Ba-Da, claims the flares occur every 4.8 years, though she later admits she was lying and that they are much more common. At the risk of blindness, those on Dam-Ba-Da during the flares must wear special goggles to protect their eyes.
