Twiggy, Dame Edna, Kermit, Jim Henson, and Joan Rivers on the premiere of Can We Talk?
Dame Edna Everage is a drag character portrayed by Australian comedian Barry Humphries (1934-2023), whom she referred to as her manager. She wrote numerous books, appeared on Broadway in her own shows, toured extensively, and hosted various television programs.
Dame Edna was a guest on the premiere of Joan Rivers' talk show, Can We Talk?, along with Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog.
Edna also appeared on Ally McBeal and made a cameo when Madeline Kahn hosted Saturday Night Live. Outside of his career as the character, Barry Humphries voiced Bruce in Pixar's Finding Nemo and appeared in Spice World and Nicholas Nickleby.
