Dan Redican is a Canadian comedian, writer, actor and puppeteer who served in the latter capacity on The Jim Henson Hour in the "MuppeTelevision" segments. He also made several on-screen cameos.
Redican is best known for co-founding the comedy troupe The Frantics, with whom he wrote and performed multiple albums and made numerous appearances on stage, radio, and television. He puppeteered on Groundling Marsh, performing the character Hegdish, and the Miss Peach of the Kelly School specials. He starred as Dan Barlow on CTV Comedy's Puppets Who Kill (while also serving as co-writer and story editor), played Carl Spiffy on Noddy, and guest starred on shows such as the 1985 revival of The Twilight Zone, The Elephant Show, Corner Gas, and Fargo.
He has also served as a producer, writer, and/or story editor on shows such as The Kids in the Hall, The Chimp Channel, Blackfly, Little Mosque on the Prairie (also serving as creative consultant), and Sunnyside (which he also co-created).
