In 2021, Gund produced a Furry Friends Forever Dance and Play Elmo and Tango animated plush, a 13-inch talking plush toy. The toy features Tango sitting in Elmo's lap. When Elmo's left foot is squeezed, the toy comes to life, playing music and rocking back and forth. Elmo and Tango are animated independently to move in time with the music. Sound clips of Elmo and Tango encourage the child to play in six different sequences.
