Dante Biagioni (1935-2016) was an Italian voice actor who dubbed Blind Pew in I Muppet nell'Isola del Tesoro (Muppet Treasure Island) and Dr. Julius Strangepork in the four redubbed Il Muppet Show episodes for the second season DVD. He also dubbed Willie Nelson on The Muppets TV series and Drunlo in Gulliver's Travels.
Biagioni lent his voice to Vincent Price in Edward Scissorhands and The Whales of August, Fred Astaire in the redubs of several films, Desmond Llewellyn as Q in three James Bond movies, and Gene Wilder in Bonnie and Clyde. He dubbed Bill Cobbs in Night at the Museum, Roger Hammond in Around the World in 80 Days, James Mason in Yellowbeard, Roddy McDowall in The Poseidon Adventure, Robert Hardy in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Bill McCutcheon in The Family Business, and Sid Caesar in The Emperor's New Clothes. Cartoon roles included Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda, Sir Giles in The Reluctant Dragon, Getafix in two Asterix films, and Dr. Applecheek in Tom and Jerry: The Movie.
On-camera, Biagioni appeared on Italian television from the late fifties onward, usually with small roles in literary adaptations (Treasure Island, The Count of Monte Cristo, the Maigret series).
