The Databus is a digital vehicle used in The Muppet CD-ROM: Muppets Inside.
With Fozzie Bear at the wheel, he and Kermit the Frog drive the bus through the interior of the player's computer, arriving at various mini-games and collecting their Muppet friends throughout. The dashboard contains many features for the player, including:
- A video screen with the bitmap, showing all the games and locations unlocked by the player. The screen additionally plays video messages from Rizzo the Rat, Statler and Waldorf (all of whom are outside the world of the computer).
- All the assorted items collected throughout the game, from fish to melons.
- The rear-view mirror, showing all the Muppet passengers the player has picked up so far.
- A radio playing audio snippets from The Muppet Show.
- A gear shift, allowing the player to adjust the difficulty of the game.
- The ignition key, which quits the game.
Its physical appearance (with psychedelic flourishes covering the exterior) and role in transporting the Muppet gang are not dissimilar to the Electric Mayhem Bus. The vehicle's name is a pun on the computing term "data bus". Fozzie, not completely getting the wordplay, states "Must be an inside joke" upon hearing it.
