"David's Street Fever" is a Sesame Street song from Episode 1230.
As David goes to fetch some paint for Hooper's Store, he strolls around the streets of New York engaging in various activities. He does all this through pantomime, as he sings the song in voiceover while taking breaks to grab a broom and sweep some steps, dance with a scrub brush and squeegie, and haphazardly build a bookcase.
The song is a parody of "Stayin' Alive."
