Angus' credit on secret Life of Toys

David Angus is a television writer who scripted every episode of Mother Goose Stories. He also co-wrote seven episodes of The Ghost of Faffner Hall (with Patrick Barlow) and wrote episodes of The Secret Life of Toys.

Angus wrote for the school drama Grange Hill from 1983-1993, as well as the spin-off Tucker's Luck (1985) and a series of juvenile novels featuring the characters. He also spent a stint writing for the long-running soap opera Emmerdale in 1986. Angus shifted mostly to writing audiobooks, some of which he narrated, for BBC's Ivory Shell label and for Naxos Audio.

Angus trained as an actor at the Drama Centre and has performed on-stage. Between script work, he acted occasionally in film and television, including the 1991 film The Hours and Times (as Brian Epstein) and an episode of the detective series Campion.
