David Beckham and Elmo.
David Beckham, OBE (b. 1975) is a midfielder English soccer player. He currently plays midfield for the Los Angeles Galaxy Major League Soccer team. Beckham played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, the English national team, and the Los Angeles Galaxy. He is married to Victoria Adams, "Posh Spice" of the Spice Girls group.
Beckham guest starred on Sesame Street Season 39, appearing with Elmo in a Word of the Day segment for "Persistence" and in a Backstage with Elmo segment for Sesamestreet.org. He posted on his blog that "Last week, I filmed an appearance on the children’s show Sesame Street. I can remember watching the programme when I was young, so I was delighted to be asked on to appear as a guest."[1]
