Dean Martin (1917-1995) was an American singer, actor and comedian. He was well-known as a member of the "Rat Pack," his variety show The Dean Martin Show and his celebrity roasts.

- In a 1964 episode of The Jimmy Dean Show, Rowlf the Dog gets a bad case of the hiccups. "Now I know how Dean Martin feels," he remarks.
- In episode 221 of The Muppet Show, Bob Hope comments that the Japanese Pole Vaulters go over more bars than Dean Martin's elbow.
- The animated Sesame Street song, "Museum Boogie," features a rat-like Martin along with fellow "Rat Pack" members Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
