An Anything Muppet delivery man made a few appearances on Sesame Street during the 1970s. Designed with sleepy eyelids, he's shown to not be fully aware of what's going on. In an installment of "Here Is Your Life," he delivers a loaf of bread to Guy Smiley, and is surprised to find himself inside a TV studio before being shooed away by Guy.
He also appeared in episodes 0695, 0701 and 0743, working for the Grouch Market in the latter. He made a later appearance in Episode 0871, delivering some chairs and a table that Bob and Gordon use to play a game of "Here Are Some Things." They try to get the delivery man to guess, but he doesn't immediately go along with it ("I don't get paid to play games, I get paid to deliver this stuff!"). Then, when Big Bird enters the scene, the delivery man becomes startled (exclaiming "Somebody call the newspaper!").
