Desiree was one of the dragon puppet characters from Puppetman. Desiree is a sultry, alligator-like vamp with a breathy, Southern accent, à la Scarlett O'Hara.
Her role in the pilot is very brief; her only speaking line occurs near the end, when she flirts shamelessly with Clyde: "What do we have here? A male with my mail!"
The puppet later appeared in The Jim Henson Hour episode "Videotape," seen dancing with fellow "Dragon Time" star Earl during "All Night Party."
