Diahann appeared with Kermit the Frog on a 1971 episode of The Flip Wilson Show, where Kermit asked for a kiss while pretending to be Flip Wilson.
Among Carroll's other credits are appearances on the Star Wars Holiday Special, the television series Grey's Anatomy, voicing Queen La on the Disney animated series The Legend of Tarzan, and appearing in Agnes of God on Broadway.
