Diana Moseley in 2017

Diana Moseley is a costume designer who worked on The Dark Crystal as associate costume designer for the Mystics, and she was one of several of the costume/fabrication crew who participated in "The Dark Crystal Clothing Collection" fashion line. [1]

Prior to The Dark Crystal, Moseley had done costume work for the English National Opera.[2] She kept her hand in as far as creature costumes when working on Greystoke (1984), as wardrobe supervisor for the primate characters, and did similar work on Max My Love (1986), as one of the makeup special effects collaborators (with Stuart Artingstall and others) on the title chimpanzee (played by Ailsa Berk). Her costume career shifted to different directions, designing clothes for rock stars and other concert artists. She designed the outfits for Freddie Mercury during the 1986 Magic Tour and other outfits for Queen, and costumed David Bowie for his 1987 Glass Spider tour.

Moseley continued to work steadily in film and TV on more mainstream projects, including sitcoms such as Goodnight Sweetheart (with Nicholas Lyndhurst), Playing the Field (with Ralph Ineson), and an episode of The New Statesman, as well as the crime/mystery series Silent Witness and Silk. In addition to many TV movies, film credits include Girls' Night (with Brenda Blethyn), Vampire Killers (with James Corden), Stella Street (with John Sessions), and The Lovers (with Simone Kessell).
