Dirk Bach (1961-2012) was a German actor and comedian who played Pepe the magician from 2000 to 2007 on Sesamstrasse.
In one of his final interviews, Bach appeared in the 2013-aired documentary Als die Sesamstrasse nach Deutschland kam ("When Sesame Street Came to Germany"), talking about his experience working on the show.
Bach starred on the sitcom Lukas and in various sketch comedy shows and co-hosted the German version of I'm a Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here!
