Disney twenty-three is a quarterly magazine started in 2009 by D23, "The Official Disney Fan Club" from The Walt Disney Company.

- The Winter 2011 issue features a cover story on The Muppets. Copies that were mailed to D23 members have a fuzzy lettering on "twenty*three" as well as a fuzzy back cover. The issue includes an in-depth behind the scenes look at the film, as well as a look at the history of the Muppets, the life of Jim Henson, and 23 questions with Dave Goelz. The articles also feature interviews with James Bobin, Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit the Frog, Walter, Miss Piggy, Jim Lewis, Steve Whitmire, Eric Jacobson, Brian Henson, and Bill Barretta. In an article preview, Miss Piggy was quoted as saying "I really do believe that in this movie I will finally get that Academy Award. I've been studying with Stanislavski" (who died in 1938).
- The Summer 2020 previews Muppets Now for Disney+, including an interview with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
- The Spring 2021 issue features the article "A Muppetational Legacy" by Bruce C. Steele with a look back at Disney Legend Jim Henson and the collaborations between the Muppets and Disney, including interviews with The Muppets Studio vice president Leigh Slaughter, Brian Henson, Dave Goelz, and Bill Barretta.
- The Fall 2021 issue features an article "A Gonzo Halloween" by Courtney Potter promoting the Muppets Haunted Mansion special. Leigh Slaughter discusses the special and Gonzo and Pepe the King Prawn are interviewed.
- The Summer 2023 issue includes interviews with Bill Barretta, Adam F. Goldberg, Jeff Yorkes, Leigh Slaughter, Dave Goelz, Tahj Mowry, and Lilly Singh about The Muppets Mayhem, with a promotional spread on the back cover.[1]
- The Winter 2023 issue features an interview with Dave Goelz in commemoration of fifty years of working with the Muppets.[2]
