Doc Hogg is the kindly country doctor on Bear in the Big Blue House. He's fond of conversations (although he has a tendency to finish other peoples' sentences) and pie. He's also fond of jokes based on wordplay. Tutter seems somewhat in awe of him and refers to him as "Doctor Hogg."
Doc Hogg is also fond of social games, such as card games and chess. As a social animal and the community physician, he's friends with most of the residents in Woodland Valley, including Bear and Jeremiah Tortoise. He's a member of the "Swiners," a charitable organization in the valley.
