Doctor Doc is the nickname of a grad student who is working on her doctorate in marine ecosystems in Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. She moves with her dog Sprocket into a backhouse, which she rents from Mrs. Shimmelfinney, where she conducts research and creates science videos for her social media channel. She also works part time at a pirate-themed restaurant. A younger version of Doc, played by Amira Amankwah, is seen in the episode "I'm Pogey."

Although the character is listed simply as "Doc" in the credits for each episode, and she hasn't received her doctorate yet, she bestows the nickname "Doctor Doc" upon herself in the pilot episode when she describes the plaque she imagines will someday be displayed on the backhouse. In the episode "Four Wembleys and a Birthday," she's using the designation in the description for videos uploaded to her social media channel.
Corkboard[]
Doc keeps a corkboard in her workshop with photos of people who have inspired her, which she calls her Shero Wall. After she successfully submits a paper she'd been working on in "The Legend of Icy Joe," Sprocket urges Doc to add a photo of herself to the wall; she complies, but only on the condition that she include Sprocket as well.
