Don't Cry, Big Bird is a 1981 Sesame Street storybook featuring Big Bird.
Big Bird wants to play games with his friends, but he's too big and gets in the way. When Big Bird cries, Mr. Snuffleupagus consoles him by saying that he's not too big; the games are just too small for him. His friends think so too, and they decide to make the games more suitable for someone his size. Big Bird is initially disappointed when he remembers that he still can't play hide-and-seek, but then he realizes he doesn't have to hide, as he can be the seeker. Big Bird then learns that being tall has its advantages when he gets Betty Lou's kite down from a tree.
