Dooley the Armadillo appeared in episode 104 of The Animal Show, where he told Stinky and Jake about armadillos and how their bodies are made of armor.
The puppet was later used for Annette on Bear in the Big Blue House, Joe the Armadillo on the DVD segments for Kermit's Swamp Years, and other armadillos (including Mr. Dillo and Sniffly Whiffler on Mopatop's Shop).
The puppet resurfaced in several early Puppet Up! shows.
