The Dragon Frackle is one of Cosmo Scam's henchmen as seen in The Great Santa Claus Switch.
The character is among those originally sketched by Jim Henson for a group of Frackles in development while auditions were underway for the Christmas special. Each sketch identified the creature and assigned them a performer from the puppet workshop. "Dragon Frackle" was labelled as having been intended for a performer named Dave Bates.[1]
Dragon Frackle is purple with yellow eyes, detailed with typical dragon characteristics such as a line of scales on its back, a long snout, and sharp teeth.
The character was later integrated into groups of Muppet monsters seen in the likes of The Muppet Show episode 119 (during the cold open with Vincent Price and "You've Got a Friend") and episode 122 (sitting in the audience behind Fozzie's Cousin).
