Dudley Moore (1935-2002) was a British actor and comedian, perhaps best known to American audiences for playing the title character in the 1981 comedy Arthur.
Moore guest-starred on The Muppet Show episode 407.
He also appeared in the 1981 TV special The Muppets Go to the Movies, and in 1989's Miss Piggy's Hollywood.
Moore died on March 27, 2002, the same day as his fellow Muppet Show guest star Milton Berle, of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
