Duncan is one of the main characters on the Henson series Brats of the Lost Nebula. He is a strong but kind member of the Brats crew.

“This big, good-natured thirteen-year-old gear-head from Yarlon has a knack for creating the gizmos that the Brats use to rock the Shock. Duncan can transform almost any combination of Shock trash into some robo-busting gadget or enhancement to their battle cruisers. He's far from being a warmonger, however. Duncan's just a natural born tinkerer, with a character as rock solid as his formidable bulk. The other Brats can tell him anything, and he'll listen with patience and supportive understanding. He's got family out in the Super Cluster somewhere, too: his Grandad, whom he hopes will understand his need to create devices to battle the Shock.”
