eBay is a popular online auction website, founded in 1995.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2005, the company made a series of 10 lapel pins. One of the pins depicts a Sesame Street character: "The one-millionth item -- a Sesame Street Big Bird toy -- is sold on the eBay marketplace." The toy in question was a Big Bird jack-in-the-box made by Hasbro in 1986.
