eOne Music, originally an Austrian-based classical music distributor known as Koch Records, is now the largest independent distributor of recorded music in the United States of America. It was announced in November 2007 that the company had signed a deal with Sesame Workshop to produce Sesame Street audio titles.[1] The company had previously released Fraggle Rockin': A Collection.
In 2008, the first Sesame titles debuted, which were re-issues of earlier albums that had been released on Sony Wonder. Koch Records was renamed E1 Music in 2009. In 2010, the company began to reissue early Sesame Street albums that had never been on CD before. Also in 2010, the company was renamed yet again, this time as eOne Music.
