Eddie sits down to eat a plate of spaghetti when he's visited by Captain Vegetable, who orders him to put away his pasta dish and eat carrots and celery. Swayed by the force of Captain Vegetable's personality, Eddie agrees, deeming that vegetables are "the best thing to come along since meatballs."
Eddie was last seen marching behind Captain Vegetable, alongside Andy, who at one time loved candy.
