Eddie "Piolín" Sotelo is a Mexican radio personality who hosted the morning show Piolín por la Mañana, first heard over Univision's flagship radio station in Los Angeles and later syndicated in border regions across the United States.
Sotelo makes a cameo appearance in the 2011 film The Muppets as a Univision television executive, approached by the Muppets to host their telethon.
Sotelo's professional nickname "Piolín" is the Mexican name for Tweety Bird. He lent his voice to talking dogs in the live-action films Beverly Hills Chihuahua (in both English and Spanish tracks) and Marmaduke and had a recurring cameo role as a baseball announcer on HBO's Eastbound & Down. In addition to music and humor, Sotelo's radio series addressed serious immigration issues and interviewed such guests as Michelle Obama.
