This green eel mostly appeared on The Muppet Show.
In episodes 116 and 117, the eel appeared in the background with various other weird creatures. He sang a solo song, "I Love the Fish I'm Near," in episode 124 (performed by Jim Henson).
He made one more cameo appearance in episode 312, playing the flute in the number "Octopus' Garden." His final appearance was in the UK spot for episode 417, in which he was performed by Jerry Nelson and had grown a beard.
