"Eight is Great" is a song from the Elmo the Musical segment, "Sea Captain the Musical."
A Giant Octopus challenges Elmo to a ping-pong match and assures the furry captain, in song, he'll win because of his eight-arm advantage. He ends up tangling the arms upon the first serve.
