Elena is Julia and Samuel's mother, and Daniel's wife, who features in videos and storybooks for Sesame Street’s autism initiative, See Amazing in All Children.
Elena is an art teacher, and a small art studio can be seen in the family living room. Julia shares her mother's artistic bent and creates drawings and paintings of her own. According to the storybook Family Forever, where Julia's family is introduced, Elena can do three cartwheels in a row.
