Eli Gorenstein (b. 1952), also credited as Eli Gurnstein or Eli Gornstein, is an Israeli actor who was a secondary regular on Rechov Sumsum during the original 1980s run, as Eli. He also dubbed various Muppet characters, such as the cynical Anything Muppet boy in "Everyone Likes Ice Cream." For the Hebrew portions of Shalom Sesame, he dubbed Guy Smiley.

Gorenstein has worked extensively in Israeli children's television, notably hosting the family series Telepele. He also appeared in the films The Frog Prince (with Helen Hunt), The Emperor's New Clothes (with Sid Caesar), and Hanna's War (with David Warner). On stage, he played Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof

Gorenstein has also been heard extensively in Hebrew dubs of Disney animated features, often as villains, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (as Doc), Alice in Wonderland (Dodo and March Hare), Lady and the Tramp (Tony), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), Aladdin (Jafar), The Lion King (Scar), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Frollo), and Tarzan (Clayton). He also voiced Eeyore and Papa Heffalump in The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and the wolf in Hoodwinked.
