Ella Cinders is a 1926 silent comedy about a woman who — in an analogue to the Cinderella story — enters a contest to win a trip to Hollywood despite her evil stepsisters. The film uses a split camera technique to achieve a scene in which the main character's eyes appear to be moving in directions that would typically seem unnatural.
