Ellie Kemper (b. 1980) is an American actress and comedian. She first gained prominence for her starring role as receptionist Erin Hannon in the NBC comedy series The Office and later gained further critical acclaim for her starring role in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
In April 2018, she taped a segment of Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck with Cookie Monster and Gonger. Filmed during production for Season 49 of Sesame Street, the segment originally was released exclusively to YouTube but later was aired in Episode 5006.
She also appeared as a guest on Julie's Greenroom.
