Elliot Scott in Inside the Labyrinth
Elliot Scott (1915-1993) was a British production designer and art director who served in the former capacity on Labyrinth. He was also interviewed for the documentary Inside the Labyrinth.
Scott began his film art career as a draftsman in the forties and fifties, including The Miniver Story (with Walter Pidgeon). He moved up to art director and production designer (frequently alternating titles) on Tom Thumb (with Peter Sellers), The Americanization of Emily (with Julie Andrews), The Haunting, Evil Under the Sun, and The Pirates of Penzance. In addition to Labyrinth, Scott was production designer on the blockbusters Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
