Elliot Sokolov is a composer who scored multiple animated or film inserts for Sesame Street, usually produced by animator Al Jarnow. Some accompanied lyrics by Jarnow, while others were purely orchestral scores (often for stop-motion segments involving sand, shells, or other objects).
Sokolov's other credits include scoring the PBS Nature special "A Celebration of Birds", the ABC Afterschool Special "Seasonal Differences," and an episode of the syndicated series Monsters. He has composed for various documentaries, commercials, and independent features.
