"Elmo's Got the Moves" is a hip-hop Sesame Street song encouraging people to move their bodies. The song is sung by Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Big Bird and the kids.

Various celebrities make cameos during the song including Robin Williams (with the Two-Headed Monster), Liev Schreiber, Maria Menounos, Naomi Watts, Wendy Williams, Amy Ryan and Nicole Kidman. A snowman and a beach ball also make cameos.

The insert originally was posted on YouTube in June 2011 as a PSA for the Michelle Obama campaign, Let's Move!.^[1] This version contains only Elmo's verse, lacks celebrity and kid cameos, some different visuals and features a short narration by Chris. (YouTube)

Elmo and friends also performed a version of the song during their September 20, 2011 appearance on Good Morning America.

The song has been performed in stage shows including the Sesame Place show Let's Play Together (2012), the Sesame Street Live shows Let's Dance! (2014) and Make Your Magic (2018), and Sesame Street: The Musical (2022).
