Elmo's Talking Book is a Sesame Street electronic toy made in 1998 by Tyco. The book, Elmo's Sounds Around Town, is made of two-page spreads with characters, animals and objects that correspond to the yellow, white, green and red buttons along the side. When a button is pushed, the toy plays a sound clip associated with the currently open page.
A follow-up toy, Grouchland Talking Pictures, presents scenes from the 1999 film The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland.
