Elmo's World: Penguins is an Elmo's World episode. It examines the world of penguins, their environment, and their physical characteristics to allow for a greater understanding of the flightless birds which often adorn frozen food packaging and Christmas wrapping.

Picture Segment Description
Guess what Elmo's thinking about today? Elmo opens the door to four penguins that slide into his room. A video montage plays of penguins swimming, penguin toys and art.
Dorothy's Question Dorothy has a cartoony penguin decoration in her fish bowl. She wants to know how you pretend to be a penguin.
The Noodle Family Mr. Noodle pretends to act like a monkey and a chicken before donning a tuxedo and flippers. The penguins walk around him and greet him like he's a penguin.
Kids and Baby Kids pretend to walk and swim like penguins. Elmo asks a baby playing with a squeaky penguin plush toy.
Elmo's Question Elmo asks the viewer to help him count CG penguins sliding on ice. They group together like bowling pins and a CG sea lion rolls into them.
Quiz Elmo asks yes/no questions about how penguins stay warm. Big Bird appears with a penguin wearing a scarf and says his Granny Bird knitted it for his cousin Blubba, who lives at the South Pole.
Video E-Mail Grover is at the South Pole ready to watch the penguins fly to Capistrano. When the penguins inform him that they can't fly, Grover tries to show them how to fly.
Film Elmo's friend John goes to work with his dad at Atlantis Marine World Aquarium in Riverhead, NY. They look at penguins and he gets to help hose down the beach area of the penguin habitat and feed the penguins.
TV Cartoon Bubbles Martin presents "Penguins on Parade" on The Penguin Channel. Coming up next: Splash, The Wet Wing, and Good Morning Antarctica.
