The Arby's fast food chain produced a line of Sesame Street finger puppet cups in 1998, to tie in with the CD release of Elmo Saves Christmas: Holiday Favorites, the soundtrack for the 1996 special Elmo Saves Christmas.
The Arby's Adventure Meal premium featured finger puppets of Elmo, Cookie Monster and Ernie in winter clothes, on top of plastic cups promoting Elmo Saves Christmas. The promotion included a coupon for $1 off any Sesame Street audio or video product.[1]
The finger puppets were also paired with cups promoting the video and soundtrack of the 1998 special Elmopalooza.
