Elmo Says BOO! is a Sesame Street special released on VHS on July 8, 1997[1] and later broadcast on PBS beginning October 26, 1997 as Halloween programming.[2]
In the special, Elmo visits Count von Count's castle to tell him funny, scary jokes. Classic Sesame Street segments are separated with new joke segments set in the castle's exterior featuring one Sesame Street character and a child, with others on the interior featuring the Count, Elmo, and some combination of the castle's inhabitants.
