"Elves' Song"[1][note 1] is a song from the 1970 special The Great Santa Claus Switch.
In Santa's Workshop, the happy little Christmas elves sing a gleeful tune as they build pretty toys for all the good girls and boys of the world. Each elf receives a solo about their individual toy-making responsibility - Zippity paints the airplanes, Skippity wraps up the baseball bats, Hoppity tests the toy trains, Bing and Bong deal with toy kittens, and Fred ensures each baby doll has a functioning crying ability. Meanwhile, Santa Claus supervises (or as he says, "super-voos"). Each verse ends with the elves performing their role call.
The song is reprised later in the special when Fred is replaced by a Frackle. As more and more elves are kidnapped, the role call is reprised again and again, with more Frackles slowly joining the group. Eventually, all the elves are replaced by Frackles, who sing a menacing version of the tune (with a few lines from the elves, forlornly singing from their place in Cosmo Scam's dungeon).
