	SCENE 1	A gruff-voiced man (Brandon Maggart) wearing an apron asks Mr. Hooper, "Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?" The man, Mr. Glopper, scopes out the street everyone's been talking about, and decides to place his hot dog cart by the stoop. He is shocked when he sees Big Bird walk by. ("Is that a person?!")
	Film	"Noises" A boy named Chris uses "magic glasses" to see invisible things that make noises, including construction equipment, a baby crying, people coughing and sneezing, a car honking, a telephone, and a typewriter. Can you make those noises? (First: Episode 0004)
	Cartoon	Ten little Greeblies (bug-like creatures) keep getting separated from their group, teaching a lesson in counting backward. (First: Episode 0006)

	SCENE 2	Big Bird asks Mr. Glopper for some peanuts, a hot dog, and a drink to share with a couple of friends, not realizing those things cost money.

	Film	"Noises" A boy named Mark has a pair of magic glasses that helps him listen to the sounds of an ice cream truck, a dog, a horse galloping, a bicycle, and a parrot. (First: Episode 0008)
	SCENE 3	Mr. Glopper dumps some trash into a trash can, when Oscar pops out and tells him off about the trash and noise. ("People live here! This is a res-i-dential area!") Mr. Glopper becomes even more rattled, wondering what's next.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Bert has a number 4 in his hand, and asks Ernie what it is. Ernie says it's a chocolate cream pie. Bert points him to a film about the number 4. (First: Episode 0006)

	Muppets	When the clip is over, Ernie guesses that the 4 is a banana cream pie. "If this 4 is a banana cream pie, then what is this?" asks Bert, while he pulls out a pie. "That's a 4!" Ernie grins, and Bert pushes the pie in Ernie's face. "I knew what it was all along," Ernie remarks, "but who wants to get hit in the face with a 4?" (First: Episode 0006)

	SCENE 4	Jennie shows Shelly and another girl some pictures with the letter Y hidden in them.

	SCENE 5	Big Bird looks for a job so he can pay Mr. Glopper the $.60 he owes him, but Mr. Hooper frets about the possibility of losing customers. Big Bird tells Bob he thought the food was free and it was a party, and Bob educates him on different points of view. Big Bird understands, since he's taller than everyone else. Bob compares the boa constricter in the pet shop window with having a different view as well.

	SCENE 6	Bob, Big Bird, and Shelly wait for some chocolate sodas, but Mr. Hooper is busy attempting to combat Mr. Glopper's hot dog cart by serving his own foodstuffs at cheaper prices. He makes out some flyers and asks Big Bird about Glopper's inventory. While Mr. Hooper goes out to run an errand, Bob reads a book to Shelly and Big Bird: I'll Fix Anthony by Judith Viorst.
	SCENE 6 cont'd	Mr. Hooper returns and offers Big Bird a job handing out flyers for his store. He passes out a few to Brynne, Mauricio, Jennie, Susan, and even Mr. Glopper, who gets wise on Hooper's plan and thinks Big Bird is a troublemaker. Bob attempts to resolve the misunderstanding, but Mr. Glopper is still a little shaken about his day so far.
	Film	Body Parts vs. Heavy Equipment: Three boys (including Brian Henson) pretend to be steam shovels, playing in the dirt. This segues into footage of real construction vehicles. A parallel is drawn between the machinery and how the boys' arms and mouths work. (First: Episode 0003)
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie reads Bert a dramatic story that he's just written. The "story" is actually the alphabet, which Ernie reads in an overwrought manner. (First: Episode 0009)
	Cartoon	Y is for Yo-Yo (repeat)
	SCENE 7	Jennie shows her illustrations to Brynne and Mauricio, and asks them what happened first in pictures of a burning apartment, a woman receiving a letter, a boy at the library, and people at a bus stop. They look up and see Alphabet Bates skywriting the letter U.
	Cartoon	"Poverty U" -- A figure gives a salute to the letter U, and presents the letter with a bouquet of flowers. Artist: Cliff Roberts
	SCENE 8	Big Bird finally gives Mr. Glopper the $.60. Mr. Glopper is pleased to hear how Big Bird had earned the money, and is relieved to know that the bird's not trying to run him out of business. To show his gratitude, Mr. Glopper gives him back $.30, which Big Bird immediately spends on some nuts. Mr. Glopper says goodbye to Big Bird after seeing how good Mr. Hooper's business is, and happily wheels his cart to another street. Big Bird is thankful that he's not as mixed up as other neighbors...

	SCENE 9	Gordon and Ford try to feed some of Big Bird's peanuts to a gray squirrel, but it doesn't seem hungry. (Gordon: "What would George Washington Carver say if you turned down a peanut?")
