Big Bird uses what he's learned about the shapes of the letters to tell a story to remind him what he's forgotten. The story involves a robber stealing a chair and breaking its legs off (making it look like an L), another robber stealing a bag of eggs (which looks like a U when empty), and the two of them bumping into each other at a Y-shaped fork in the road. He recognizes each of the shapes... and forgets the letter's names. Gordon thinks it would be a good time to visit Buddy and Jim. |
