SCENE 1 Gordon overhears Oscar singing in the shower from within his can. Bob, Susan and Mr. Hooper also stop by Oscar's can out of curiosity. Oscar has put up a "No trespassing" sign, for a reason he won't disclose yet. The gang looks at the clues Oscar has left around, and conclude that he must be going on a trip. Oscar comes up and reveals that he is going on a trip, to the grouch convention held by the Disagreeable Order of Grouches (D.O.G.). Since it's a grouch convention, it won't be fun, and the weather will hopefully be miserable. Oscar makes seven ugly faces as the gang counts.

SCENE 8 Mr. Hooper receives an airmail card from Oscar, who's now going through places that begin with N. How does Mr. Hooper know it's an airmail card? Because Oscar says every time the plane flew over someplace that began with N, it made the letter in the sky (as seen in a film clip). Mr. Hooper reads all the N places Oscar has visited, and marks them with a big letter N and lines between -- Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nebraska, New York. As Mr. Hooper draws the N's and lines connectยญing them across the map, Gordon laughs that Oscar's "N" note is a nest of nutty nonsense.
