Picture	Segment	Description
	SCENE 1	Big Bird singsongingly boasts that he can draw letters better than anybody else on the block and instantly recognizes any letter he sees. His claim is put to the test when he, Gordon, and the kids look up and see Alphabet Bates skywriting a letter (First: Episode 0061). When Big Bird incorrectly guesses that it's the letter F, Gordon explains that it's actually the letter E and introduces a segment to show what an F really looks like.
	Muppets	Kermit's Lectures: Kermit talks about the letter F. He wanted an F, but someone sent him an E. A monster asks what the difference is between E and F, and then solves Kermit’s problem by eating the bottom line of the E so Kermit can talk about F. (First: Episode 0033)

	SCENE 2	Big Bird draws an E and F on the drawing board, with an arrow pointing to the E to show that he understands the difference now. He briefly leaves to find Gordon, and the line on the E disconnects itself and attaches itself to the F. Gordon compliments Big Bird on the attempt but is taken aback by his "perfidious penmanship." Big Bird is confused--he's sure he wrote the letters properly. The line on the E disappears as Big Bird has his back turned, making two F's. Big Bird is confused again when Bob comes around and compliments his two F's. The mischievous line finally reappears at the bottom of the E, and Big Bird's happy to know he was right all along but goes to his nest to lie down, just as the line disappears once again...

	Cartoon	A self-proclaimed "handsome" fly (voiced by Casey Kasem) is indignant about appearing in a segment about the letter F with a "fat and ugly" frog. The frog solves the problem by eating the fly. (First: Episode 0034)
	Muppets / Cast	Bob reads a story with F words featuring Frieda who ventures to her friend Flora's farm with flowers and fruit, but gets lost in a forest. Kermit keeps trying to insert himself into the story (since Frog is a great F word), mishearing Bob when he says "fog" and "log". When Frieda meets a farmer named Fred, who turns out to be a prince, she kisses Prince Fred, and he turns into Kermit. (First: Episode 0095)
