	SCENE 1	In his apartment, Gordon shows some kids how to hang a calendar.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie explains to the audience how people have two of everything: "Let's see, we've got two eyes, and two ears, and two noses..." "Hey, you ding-a-ling!" Bert interrupts. "You've only got one nose." Ernie promptly pulls Bert's nose off, sticks it to his own face, and keeps counting. "Two noses, and two eyes, and two ears ... too bad!" (First: Episode 0061)

	Muppets	"Everybody Moo": Cookie Monster and Herry make monster noises and animal noises and invite the viewer to do the same.
	SCENE 2	Gordon shows that when you put a salt shaker and a pepper shaker together, you have a pair of shakers.

	Muppets	A Muppet father and son switch roles in the forest. The father climbs trees and asks questions, while the son explains things. (First: Episode 0089)
	SCENE 3	Mr. Hooper and the kids sort figurines of a family by gender and age.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie refuses to take his turn to go for the newspaper. He tricks Bert into going to Hooper's Store in his place. (First: Episode 0093)
	Cartoon	"Count Up Elevator" -- An elevator operator stops at ten floors to pick up passengers, including a witch, a fireman, and a kangaroo. The tenth passenger, a mouse, causes the elevator to overload and explode. (First: Episode 0003)
	SCENE 4	Bob and the kids draw pictures of flowers. Each flower is different, but they are all flowers.
	Film	A female vocalist sings about the many different types of flowers found all over.
	Muppets	Kermit demonstrates his "What Happens Next" machine, which is designed to turn on his radio. None of the parts of the machine work properly. (First: Episode 0089)

	SCENE 5	Big Bird, having just finished a peanut butter sandwich that Susan made him, now has to close the jar. He attempts to put different lids on the jar, finally finding the right one.

	Celebrity	Walt Frazier helps Mr. Hooper and Jill demonstrate big, bigger, and biggest.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie is going on a hunt for big rocks. When he tries to pick a really big one, the rock turns out to be the dome of a large monster. (First: Episode 0034)
	SCENE 6	Gordon and the kids reflect on the previous segment, talking about what makes them afraid. One boy is afraid of wetting the bed, while a girl isn't afraid of climbing to the top of a tree. Gordon introduces Grover, who knows how to combat fear.
	Muppets	Grover, lost in a scary forest, sings "I Whistle a Happy Tune" to keep his spirits up. He bumps into a monster -- but it's Cookie Monster, who happily joins in the song. Then they run into a little boy, and they run away, panicked. (First: Episode 0131)
	SCENE 7	Oscar the Grouch, taking a shower, rhymes soap and hope, rush and brush, "oughta" and water. Why is he taking a shower? Because Lulu's back in town…
	Muppets	Tony sings "Lulu's Back in Town". Lulu turns out to be the Beautiful Day Monster, with a wig. (First: Episode 0030)
	Muppets	Kermit attempts to talk about the letter K, but it falls off the wall. (First: Episode 0044)

	Muppets	Kermit attempts to talk about the letter K again, but the top half of the K collapses. (First: Episode 0044)

	Muppets	Kermit attempts to talk about the letter K again, when Cookie Monster comes by. Kermit tells off Cookie Monster, until he learns that he wants to help him. Kermit talks about K words (including his name), while having Cookie Monster display the items he's mentioning. Finally, Cookie karate-chops the K. (First: Episode 0044)
	Cartoon	"K" - Kangaroo - A man (voiced by Gary Owens) explains what a kangaroo is, and ends up in the pouch of one.
	Muppets	Professor Hastings talks about the number 2, using two trucks to demonstrate. Another Muppet shows him how the trucks are the same and different.
