Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 On the counter of Hooper's Store are several items people have ordered. Mr. Hooper tells Big Bird that the items can give them clues as to what the person who ordered them is doing today. Big Bird guesses each box is full of items for the person's pet monster to eat. An elderly Muppet woman approaches the store window, ordering some items associated with the beach. Big Bird guesses now that she and her grandson Chuckie are going to the beach. Instead, the items are to feed to her pet monster, Chuckie.

Muppets Grover takes part in Bob's story: "Cutie and the Beast." Princess Cutie falls in love with the beast (Grover) and her father, the king, believes that when kissed, he will break whatever spell he's under and turn into a handsome prince. But, before they can be wed, the beast must first undergo "The Ordeal of What-Happens-Next."

Muppets As "Cutie and the Beast" continues, the Beast must deduce what happens next in three different situational paintings. The Beast successfully guesses what will happen and is allowed the princess' hand in marriage. The two share a kiss and Cutie turns into a beautiful beast, which is what she previously looked like before her enchantment. "These fairy tales never turn out the way you expect them to!," the king groans.

SCENE 4 Miguel has four dolls set out. He asks the viewer to find which numbered card should go with them.

Cast Gordon appears as a magician sitting in a chair. He magically brings in Susan and Mr. Hooper, as well as a number counting them all. The other two pop in and out, forcing Gordon to change the number until he makes them all vanish.
Muppets Betty Lou teaches the meaning of "beginning", "middle", and "end", and introduces two of her friends: Beginning and End. The duo tell a story, but it lacks something in between the beginning and end parts. Beginning and End recruit their pal Middle to fill out the rest of the story. Middle, however, cannot stop telling the exciting part of the story, and the three friends begin a quarrel, forcing Betty Lou to declare the end of the lecture.

SCENE 6 Frannie comes to Hooper's to buy two dollies. Mr. Hooper has four dollies for sale and Frannie can't decide on which ones to buy; she's able to classify them into many groups of potential purchase, such as size or skin color. She finally decides to get the two dollies wearing overalls, but tells Mr. Hooper to hold off on wrapping them until her birthday - in three months.
