  • Betty Lou teaches the meaning of "beginning", "middle", and "end", and introduces two of her friends: Beginning and End. The duo tell a story, but it lacks something in between the beginning and end parts. Beginning and End recruit their pal Middle to fill out the rest of the story. Middle, however, cannot stop telling the exciting part of the story, and the three friends begin a quarrel, forcing Betty Lou to declare the end of the lecture. (First: Episode 0138)
  • Bob and kids talk about the letter "J".
  • Bob reads the story of "Cutie and the Beast": Princess Cutie falls in love with a beast. Her father, the King, gives a test to the beast before he consents to his daughter's marriage. The beast succeeds, and kisses Princess Cutie – who turns into a female beast.
  • Frannie, a little girl Muppet, tries to decide what kind of doll she wants to buy from Hooper's Store. A grandmother also comes into Hooper's Store to buy things for her pet monster to eat.
  • Bob talks about the "a" sound.
  • Cartoon: "The Story of A" -- A witch tells bored kids a story about the letter A involving an ant's apple getting stolen by an archer. (First: Episode 0130)
  • Cartoon: A man displays the capital and lowercase A, and explains what an alligator is...before he is eaten by one. (First: Episode 0006)
  • Cartoon: A story about an ape and a bird, using the letter A. (aired twice) (EKA: Episode 0179)
  • An Anything Muppet man holds up pictures and asks the viewer to find a square in each of them. Cookie Monster soon joins him when the man shows a picture of a cookie box, which Cookie Monster believes has cookies in it. (EKA: Episode 0203)
  • Frannie helps a girl sort clothes based on what time of the year they are worn.
  • Cookie Monster and Ernie: Ernie and Cookie Monster discuss hope. Ernie has something in a brown paper bag, and asks Cookie Monster what he hopes it is. Cookie Monster hopes that it is a cookie. It turns out that Ernie has ten cookies in the bag.
