SCENE 1 Susan and Gordon encounter Prairie Dawn standing by Oscar's trash can, hearing some loud noises coming from it. She thinks a monster is attacking Oscar, then Gordon thinks Oscar might be throwing an angry fit. Oscar comes up and reveals that he relaxes by listening to his favorite record of noisy sounds, “Music to Be Grouchy By”.
Cartoon A bully won't give the kids' baseball back. The boy imagines a few scenarios before ultimately calling for his dog.

He gets scared by everything that happens while Prairie has an explanation for all of it. When they spot a little mouse Prairie gets scared and runs away, while Walter tells the mouse not to be scared.

Bert expresses his disgust just as Oscar the Grouch comes in with two ice cream cones. He intends to give only one of them away, but swaps the other in exchange for the smashed banana with cold gravy.

SCENE 6 At Hooper's Store, Mr. Hooper displays a tie he just bought. Gordon thinks it looks dull, and pictures Hooper with a more contemporary psychedelic outfit. Bob pictures him dressed as a dandy, and Big Bird imagines him dressed as a rugged outdoorsman. Mr. Hooper still prefers his tie.
